Who are we ?

In 1996, Pierre Manquat  founded the "Confrérie des compagnons du pépin magique", translated as  "The Brotherhood of the magic pip". Today, more than seventy associates are sharing their passion for good wine and blind wine tasting. However, a problem  exists : the one who organises the blind wine tasting session can't participate, because he knows the answer ! Every problem has a solution ...

In order to share this passion with as many people as possible, in 2004, Pierre Manquat  created in France the company  "Petite dégustation entre amis". He chose  "Louis Tête" as his partner ( www.tete-beaujolais.com), a traditionnal wine merchant based in the Beaujolais since 1883. Even though we love Beaujolais wines and Beaujolais landscapes, we want to share our passion for  good French  wines, not only Beaujolais ! Today, more than 20000 kits have been sold in more than six countries (especialy French speaking and german speaking countries).

The  idea behind  "Wine tasting with friends" is simple : even if you don't know much about wine, you are able to recognize that wines are different. Pay attention to the clues on the wine  tasting sheets, and trust your first instinct. If you are able to recognize the differences between wine, which wine you prefer and why you prefer it, then we have met our objective.
